NGC 7531

NGC 7531 is an intermediate spiral galaxy 73 million light years away in Grus. Our image has been provided for study to a group of Astronomers. The galaxy contains a very unusual halo which the subject of considerable interest.
Imaged in LRGB on our Planewave CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
