NGC 602

NGC 602 is a young bright open cluster of stars located in the Small Magellanic Cloud. The stars formed when a large part of the gas cloud collapsed under gravity and became quite dense. The remaining gas cloud has been shaped by intense radiation from these stars.
Imaged in HOO narrowband on our RiDK 500 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
