NGC 1888

NGC 1888 is an infrequently imaged spiral galaxy located 112 million light years away in Lepus. It is interacting with NGC 1889 which is around 5 million light years further away than NGC 1888. The disc of NGC 1889 is behind NGC 1888 but from our perspective 1889 appears to be diving into 1888.
Imaged in LRGB on our Planewave CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
