SH2 239 is an interesting reflection nebula in Taurus containing many young stars as well as outflows of gas presenting as bright red knots and jets. It is surrounded by LDN 1551 a dark star forming nebular region and is situated near the end of the Taurus molecular cloud.
Imaged in LRGB and H alpha at Dark Sky New Mexico, OTA CDK 17.
