Aptly named The Statue of Liberty Nebula
NGC 3576 is located 9000 light years away in the Sagittarius arm of the Milky Way. Spanning 100 light years the art has five different classification numbers. The area is made of of Hydrogen, Ionized Oxygen and interstellar dust. Numerous bright stars have formed over the last few million years.
