NGC 1964 is an infrequently imaged intermediate spiral galaxy 70 million light years away in Lepus.
The galaxy features a bright dense core within an oval disc. There are multiple active star forming regions within the arms.
Imaged in LRGB on our PlaneWave CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
