IC 10

IC 10 is an irregular galaxy in Cassiopeia.
At a distance of 2.2 million light years from here it is the closest starburst galaxy with a large population of newly formed stars.
The galaxy although close to us by cosmic standards is heavily obscured by cosmic dust and stars.
