NGC 2566 is a very rarely imaged spiral galaxy situated 91 million light years away in Puppis.
The galaxy has a bright central core and two rather faint sweeping arms. There are also a number of gas jets evident and numerous star forming regions in an outer ring region.
Imaged in LRGB on our Planewave CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
