NGC 908 is an unbarred spiral galaxy approximately 65 million light years away in Cetus.
The galaxy is a starburst galaxy and is undergoing a very intense period of star formation as is obvious in the groupings of bright stars in the spiral arms. The galaxy spans 75,000 light years making it smaller than our own Milky Way. The uneven shape and structure of the spiral arms is indicative of past interaction with another galaxy.
