NGC 6935 and NGC 6937 are a pair of spiral galaxies in the constellation of Indus which are proximate to each other but not gravitationally bound.
NGC 6935 the galaxy on the right of the image is classed as a mixed spiral galaxy with the morphology classification SABa and is located 211 million light years from here. It has tightly wrapped arms with few apparent star forming regions. This contrasts with the open blue spiral arms of NGC 6937 which lays at a distance of 223 million light years away. Both galaxies are quite small in the field of view at around 2’.
