NGC 6845 is an interacting group of four galaxies situated 300 million light years away in the constellation of Telescopic.
The components of the galaxy cluster are the two spiral galaxies NGC 6845A and NGC 6845B as well as the two lenticular galaxies NGC 6845C and NGC 6845D.
Within the group the spiral galaxies NGC 6845 A and B exhibit very strong tidal interaction with a bridge between the two galaxies. The lenticular galaxies NGC 6845 C and D are interacting and within a common HII region but do not appear to have tidal bridges.
The group is relatively small in the field of view at 4×2’.
