Located 150 million light years away, NGC 6753 is a large unbarred spiral galaxy in Pavo. In our field of view the galaxy is small with an apparent size of just over 2×2’.
The galaxy has a number of active star forming regions as well as clusters of older red stars. It has rarely been imaged in astrophotography.
Imaged in LRGB on our Planewave CDK 1000 at Observatorio, El Sauce, Chile.
