NGC 4437 is a spiral galaxy 70 million light years away (NED_IPAC estimate) in Virgo; it is seen edge on.
The bright core is nearly completely obscured by dust.
There is also a second dust disk which is somewhat unusual. There are also an estimated 17 dwarf satellite galaxies surrounding NGC 4437.
