NGC 3981 is an unbarred spiral galaxy located 62 million light years from here in Crater.
The galaxy features massive streams of dust and star forming areas with a spiral arm structure stretching outwards from the galaxy. The shape of the arms is likely due to a past interaction with another galaxy.
