A very popular astrophotography target NGC 3584/NGC 3576 is often referred to as The Statue of Liberty Nebula. This high resolution close up shows the gas clouds within the nebula with a good amount of detail.
The nebula is located 9000 light years away in the Sagittarius arm of the Milky Way and spans 100 light years. t
