NGC 3285 is a barred spiral galaxy located nearly 200 million light years away in the constellation of Hydra it has been rarely imaged in astrophotography.
The galaxy is seen nearly edge on but appears to have tightly would arms and a possible ring structure. There appears to be a dust bubble surrounding the galaxy which is visible at the bottom of the galaxy.
Imaged in LRGB on my Planewave CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
