NGC 3175 is a rarely imaged barred spiral galaxy 63 million light years away in the constellation of Antlia.
The galaxy is of interest as surveys have found an absence of HI gas in the outer regions yet there is active star formation.
Imaged in LRGB on my Planewave CDK 700 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
