NGC 288 is a globular cluster located around 30,000 light years away in the constellation of Sculptor. It is estimated to be between 10 and 12 billion years old.
NGC 288 is one of a minority of low concentration globulars with its stars loosely bound together.
Imaged in LRGB and H alpha on my PlaneWave CDK 700 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
