NGC 2713 is a barred spiral galaxy located more than 200 million light years away in the constellation of Hydra.
NGC 2713 may be interacting with NGC 2716 a lenticular galaxy which has caused NGC 2713 to have radio emissions.
NGC 2713 shines at a magnitude of 12 and given the distance is likely twice the size of our own galaxy.
NGC 2713 is a LINER-type galaxy with an active nucleus and a supermassive black hole.
Some areas of star formation are visible, but there does not appear to be a high level of activity.
