NGC 24
Relatively small in the field of view and not often imaged. NGC 24 is a spiral galaxy spanning 40,000 light years and is located 24 million light years away in Sculptor. The image shows some areas with blue burst of star formation, substantial dust lanes and some faint HII areas.
