M 78 (NGC 2068) is one of the best known reflection nebula.
It is situated in the constellation of Orion around 1600 light years away.
It is the brightest diffuse reflection nebula in the sky and can be seen with binoculars.
I thought it would be interesting to zoom in on the main portion for a closer look.
Imaged in LRGB on my Planewave CDK 700 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
