NGC 1353 is a flocculent spiral galaxy situated 70 million light years away in the constellation of Eridanus. At 3×1’ it is small in the field of view.
The galaxy has a very bright core and a pseudo bulge. It is variously listed as barred, but there is no evidence of a bar in this image.
The spiral arms are not well defined which is common in a flocculent spiral and there is an apparent ring structure around the core region of the galaxy.

Imaged in LRGB on my Planewave CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
