NGC 1337

NGC 1337 is an unbarred spiral galaxy situated 52 million light years away in the constellation of Eridanus.

The galaxy is seen nearly edge on. The central region is bright with multiple dust lanes.

The spiral arms are well defined with many young blue stars.

Imaged in LRGB on my Planewave CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
