IC 4721 is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation of Pavo located around 104 million light years away (Hubble distance ).
Although Magnitude 11.6 the galaxy appears reflectively faint when imaging.
The image is interesting as it presents the illusion of another galaxy either going into IC 4721 or sometimes mistaken for an arm of IC 4721.
It is in fact a distant spiral that lies behind IC 4721.
Below is the Elliptical Galaxy PGC 62067 at a distance of 265 million light years with the magnitude 12.8 spiral galaxy IC 4720 at the top right of the image at a (Hubble) distance of 97 million light years.
Imaged in LRGB on my Planewave CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
