A trio of rarely imaged interacting galaxies in Libra consisting of NGC 5915 at the top, NGC 5916 lower left and NGC 5916A to the right.
NGC 5916 is a spiral galaxy and NGC 5915 is a starburst spiral galaxy with a bar and a number of hot spots. NGC 5916A has a poorly defined structure and has not been classified.
The NED data base estimates the distance from earth to be around 110 million light years.
