NGC 4725 is an intermediate barred spiral galaxy with a prominent ring structure 40 million light years away in Coma Berenices.
The galaxy is unusual as it appears to have a single arm as well as a halo and what appears to be a stream of stellar matter that was pushed out by unstable magnetic fields.
