Around 60 million light years from here, NGC 2964 (lower right), NGC 2968 (Center), NGC 2970 (upper left), and the other more distant galaxies. 2964 and 2968 are spiral galaxies, and 2970 is an elliptical galaxy. The diffuse plume appearing to extend between 2968 and 2970 may be the result of interaction with a previously merged galaxy or other proximate interactions.
