NGC 217 is a variously listed as a spiral or Lenticular galaxy located 175 million light years away in the constellation of Cetus.

The galaxy forms a triplet with PGC 3368365 an apparent dwarf galaxy at magnitude 16 and a small spiral galaxy that doesn’t appear to have a catalog number.

Numerous dust lanes are visible in NGC 217 as well as the nucleus region.

The group has been very rarely imaged

Imaged in LRGB on my Planewave CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
