NGC 7070 is a spiral galaxy located 104 million light years away in the constellation of Grus.
It has a close companion galaxy which is listed as NGC 7070A.
The galaxy is classed as a late type spiral meaning it is young by cosmic standards.
The galaxy has a low surface brightness of magnitude 23.4 and a B.magnitude of 12.8, in the field of view it is small at 2.5 x 2’
