NGC 4835 is a barred spiral galaxy seen partly edge on located around 110 million light years away in the constellation of Centaurus.
The galaxy has a low surface brightness of 23.5 mag/arcsec2.
There is a small companion galaxy PGC 516792 which is an irregular galaxy.
