NGC 5253

NGC 5253 is an irregular blue compact dwarf galaxy located around 12 million light years away in the constellation of Centaurus.
The central region has extremely heavy star formation activity with hot young stars grouped in clusters.

Imaged in LRGB on my Planewave CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
