NGC 7083 is an unbarred flocculent galaxy 143 million light years away in the constellation of Indus. While classified as flocculent the data from this image yield fairly good detail and contrast in the arms and central region leading me to question the classification. Although surface brightness is low, there is reasonable delineation of various features. The galaxy is small in the field of view and has not been imaged often.
It is situated in an isolated position and does not appear to be part of a galaxy group.

Imaged in LRGB on my Planewave CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
