NGC 3137

NGC 3137 lies 40 million light years away in Antlia. It is an intermediate spiral galaxy and is part of the NGC 3175 group. The galaxy is surrounded by numerous other smaller spiral galaxies. The group is thought to be an analogue of our own Galaxies local group.
