NGC 3201 is a globular cluster 16,000 light years away in vela with a low central concentration of stars. It is thought to contain multiple black holes and shows evidence of tidal streaming. While some globular clusters can contain over a million stars, NGC 3201 has an estimated 58666 stars. The cluster is thought to have formed around the same time as our galaxy.
