This two panel mosaic shows NGC 4145 is a barred spiral galaxy with little new star formation in Ursa Major shown on the left of this image, it is 68 million light years from here. NGC 4151 shown on the right is an intermediate spiral often nicknamed The Eye of Sauron , it is situated 43 million light years from here and features an actively growing black hole.
